CowManager Terms and Conditions

PrePaid License

PrePaid License is a price plan in which the customer pays the hardware and a 5-year software license upfront. The following terms apply:

  • The PrePaid License contains a 5-year warranty on the hardware from the date of shipment of the products (see 'Warranty' for more information about the full scope and extend of the warranty given by CowManager).
  • After the warranty of the hardware has expired, malfunctioning sensors can be replaced based on the price of a new sensor at the time of replacement.
  • The software license will be activated after shipment of the products. The license start date will be 21 days after shipment and expires after 5 years from that moment.
  • After the software license has expired, we offer two options to continue with CowManager:
  • Renewal of the PrePaid License (software) and possibly renewal of the hardware depending on the lifetime.
  • Switch to Subscription+ and reinvestment in hardware.

CowManager offers the option to purchase the CowManager system in increments with a minimum of 50 sensors per order, in order to receive the benefits of a higher volume discount from the start. By signing the total quote, you agree to purchase the total number of products within 12 months. If not, all increments are paid for within 12 months, CowManager reserves the right to collect the unjustified quantity discount.



The duration of the warranty depends on the chosen payment plan. The following terms apply during the warranty period:

  • CowManager guarantees that it will replace any defective sensor/coordinator/router by sending you a replacement at CowManager's expense. This is the full scope and extent of the warranty given by CowManager.
  • CowManager requests the customer to use the facilitated replacement procedure in the CowManager web application to apply for replacement Sensors.
  • The warranty does not grant you any other right or remedy. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty does not include any services of CowManager.
  • With regards to the installation of the replacement Sensor/Coordinator/Router, CowManager is not liable for any indirect or consequential damage you may incur as a result of the defective sensor/coordinator/router or the replacement thereof (such as for example expenses to replace the defective products or damage incurred due not being able to – properly – use the defective products).
  • The warranty on the solar charging unit and solar panel is 2 years.
  • The warranty on the Find my Cow locator device is 1 year.
  • The warranty on a laptop supplied by CowManager conforms with the manufactures warranty.
  • Coordinator/router cables, adapters and antennas are not included in the warranty.
  • The warranty does not include the replacement of hardware lost, damaged or destroyed by lightning, fire, flood or use for purposes for which it was not designed. The price for a lost sensor is based on actual sensor price.

Use of Service

The customer can use the services via or via the mobile App available in the Play Store and App Store. Data charges may apply. An account is automatically generated by the purchase of CowManager. The customer’s email address is the username in CowManager and a password can be created by the customer. In case the customer forgot the password, a new password can be requested by clicking on ‘I have forgotten my password’ on the web application The customer can use the service 24/7 and will be notified in case of down time due to maintenance or updates. The customer can only access the application with a good working internet connection. The customer can provide access to employees, nutritionists, vets etc. via Multiview which is available on the CowManager web application.

CowManager communication
The customer will receive updates about product development, support, tips and tricks via email and our web-application. Customers may also receive questionnaires and special offers via the monthly newsletter. CowManager will never give or sell your information to a third party.

CowManager Computer Requirements

For the optimal performance of the CowManager PC application, we recommend a dedicated computer. This computer should (at least) meet the following requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
  • 64-bit processor
  • 4 GB RAM memory
  • A solid-state drive (SSD) computer is recommended
  • USB port.
  • Internet connection (minimal 5 Mbps download speed)
  • Windows should be up to date
  • eamViewer should be available on the computer for assistance

An additional computer used solely for providing interface data should at least meet above mentioned requirements except for the USB port requirement.


General Nederland ICT Terms & Conditions and CowManager License Terms

This Quote, the Agreement, delivered services and products by CowManager and any ensuing or subsequent agreements or Orders with CowManager will be governed by the ‘Nederland ICT Terms and Conditions’, as filed with the Chamber of Commerce in Utrecht, The Netherlands, under number  59285273. A copy of our general terms and conditions have been provided to you along with our offer and have been accepted by you by confirming the offer and placing the order. The Services will be governed by the CowManager License Terms.


This Quote, the Agreement, delivered services and products and any ensuing or subsequent agreements or Orders with CowManager are not subject to any purchasing and/or other conditions set by the Customer, regardless of any reference to them in any documentation, now or in the future and are expressly rejected.


Subsequently, we draw your attention to the following:

  • All relations between you and CowManager are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
  • Any disputes arising in connection with said relations, shall be finally settled in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute. The arbitral tribunal shall be composed of three arbitrators. The place of arbitration shall be The Hague, The Netherlands. The arbitral procedure shall be conducted in the English language. The arbitral tribunal shall decide as amiable compositor and in accordance with the rules of law. Consolidation of the arbitral proceedings with other arbitral proceedings pending in the Netherlands, as provided for in Article 1046 of the Dutch Code of Civil Procedure, shall be excluded.
  • The applicability of UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is excluded.
  • Incoterms: DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) / DAP (Delivered At Place).
  • This Quote is valid until 2 weeks after Quote date.
