Where it All Started

It was 2004 when Dutchman Gerard Griffioen visited a dairy farm in Wisconsin. Gerard – a dairy farmer himself – knew the challenges of farming. He recognized how American farmers were also struggling to get a grip on the milk yield of their livestock. Convinced that it could be done easier, he felt it was time for change. And so, he invented and launched the very first ear sensors for cows. Right there and then, CowManager was born.

Today, CowManager has revolutionized the world of cow monitoring systems with ongoing groundbreaking innovations. Our product is built on years of knowledge, university research and on-farm tests. Thousands of farmers across the globe have 24/7 control over their herd thanks to our cow monitoring service. With our Fertility Module, Health Module, Transition & Nutrition Module, and Youngstock Monitor, we provide accurate and real-time information. Finding cows in heat and catching sick cows earlier makes farmers’ lives easier.
